You have arrived at the Police Station to represent your very first client. You have been handed the Disclosure Statement, the Custody Record, the record of Previous Convictions and have also had the chance to take some initial instructions from Jane Jones in her cell.
The Custody Sergeant says you can have a little time before you go back into the cell to give the client your advice, and before you represent her in interview.
You peruse the documents, and ring your supervisor who asks you the following questions;
