Identify and explain the organization’s strategic options.

Youu will conduct an in-depth study of the organization, and apply the concepts, analytical tools, and frameworks of this course to analyze its external and internal environments, identify the organization’s strategic options, and come up with a set of recommendations to maximize the organization’s long-term performance.
Time at the end of the course is set aside for presentations on your Strategic Analysis. The presentation allows each of you to report its analysis and recommendations to the class. The exact presentation time and date for each team will be assigned by a random drawing. Each presentation will last 15 minutes and will followed by questions.
Elements/Sections that should be addressed in your analysis:
History of organization/who they are
Organizational structure/org. chart
Analysis of its external environments
Analysis of its internal environments
In-depth overview of the organization’s Current Strategic Plan
The context in which the plan was developed
The individuals involved in development and implementation the plan


Identify and explain the organization’s strategic options
The goals and objectives of the plan
The timeline for plan
How will obstacles and roadblocks be addressed
How essential components of the plan will be evaluated
Come up with 3 to 5 in-depth recommendations (including supporting
documentations/reasoning for those recommendations) to maximize the
organization’s long-term performance
If possible, include interviews with the leader of the unit before the study and an exit interview with your conclusions and recommendations (following research compliance guidelines.
5-7 references will be required to support your analysis
