Students will select a topic or
subject concerning risk management like in-class case studies. The in-class
case studies willdemonstrate the research paper objectives. Students will need to quickly
select the topic or subject, as they will need toimmediately start compiling research information. See
Appendix A for detailed information about the content of your analysis.This research paper will be due in Week 7. This paper will be
required to follow APA format with a minimum of 10 references.The paper should be a minimum of 10-15 pages (calculations,
graphs, etc. should be included as appendices and do not counttoward the 10–15-page count). The paper is expected to be in
the general format discussed in Appendix A. Students are expectedto research their topic through the appropriate channels such
as the library, getting information from companies, various on-linesources, etc. The research paper assignment counts 20% toward
your final grade. Note, the exclusion of any major componentwill result in point deductions as itemized in Appendix A

This week, research such topics to see
what is of interest to you. Allow your research to guide you. You should see
what research is available on one of these subjects. Make sure that you can
find at least 3 scholarly articles .

Here is an outline:

Introduction: Provide the overall
background of the challenge.

Examine the risk and provide research
that claims there are resolutions to the issues. Share what the research
recommends. For example, there may be legislative changes, risk prevention, or
creation of new types of policies or products.

Conclusion should provide your overall
… conclusion … or your opinion on what is a better way to resolve this
issue.
