Prompt: Carl Plantinga (CP, pgs 9-18) discusses several different conceptions of documentary film (ubiquitous fiction thesis, ubiquitous documentary thesis, etc.). Give a brief descriiption of each, making sure to include any problems that arise with them. Is there a conception of documentary that you find most persuasive? Do you favor more than one thesis?
