Topic: Napoleonic Wars (1806-1815)
Background on topic: Prussia’s initial defeat by Napoleon led to significant reforms under leaders like Karl von Stein and Gerhard von Scharnhorst, modernizing the Prussian state and military. The eventual defeat of Napoleon and the Congress of Vienna in 1815 reestablished Prussia as a leading European power.
