What is safer for a person with cardiac issues, in your professional opinion,: a 2% lidocaine injection or a topical with 0.5% bupivicaine?

We are looking to have a single page written that compares the toxicity of our topical anesthetic, Orlicaine, to the toxicity of a lidocaine injection and the “BTT” topical in dentistry.

Specifically, we are looking for the paper to cover whether or not a topical with 0.5% bupivicaine is a great concern for a person with cardiac issues or not. We are looking for it to be compared to:

1. a 2% lidocaine injection
2. a compounded topical with lidocaine 12.5%, tetracaine 12.5%, prilocaine 3%, and phenylephrine 3%. “BTT Topical”

Our topical is called Orlicaine: Tetracaine HCL 4%; Bupivicaine HCL 0.5%; Phenylephrine 1%

Questions we would like answered:

What is safer for a person with cardiac issues, in your professional opinion,: a 2% lidocaine injection or a topical with 0.5% bupivicaine?
What is safer for a child, in your professional opinion,: a 2% lidocaine injection or a topical with 0.5% bupivicaine?
