2) In a short discussion post (at least 200 words), explain your understanding of this structure and how you will organize your college essays.
3) In doing so, consider and try to address the following:
What are the THREE things essential to an Introduction? (Hint: Hook is #1…)
What is a “hook” and what does it do for the reader?
How does the thesis help organize the essay and “guide” the reader?
What do the BODY paragraphs do for the essay?
What does the writer hope to accomplish with the CONCLUSION? (Hint: Notice how the Conclusion is an “upside down” Introduction.)
