Final PHASE 3 Project Document

The system document includes all items you covered in phases 1 and 2 as well as a few additional sections. You can deviate from what you submitted in previous phases or discussions in this document. The document should include the following sections:

Title page
The title is descriptive (provides enough detail) & is concise (avoids unnecessary words). It tells the reader what the research paper is about.

Introduction
Introduction is the general description of the project and supporting system. Introduction introduces the topic clearly and previews the organization of the presentation. It should include:

Purpose of the research
Include a List of goals and objectives.
Research question / Problem you are solving.
The background of the problem (citing previous work done by others)

Background
The background is concise (avoids unnecessary details). It provides context related to the research paper & answers the following questions:
Why is your research question important?
What is the current knowledge on this topic?
What will your research add?
If applicable, summarize more than 2 articles related to the research topic. All required information included with no errors.

Management
Includes a timetable or Gantt charts, to give visual presentation of the relative timing of the separate tasks.
List technological requirements, such as network(n-tier architecture diagram), hardware, and software.
System Specification (complete what is applicable)
List of functional requirements based on analysis.
List of non-functional requirements based on analysis.
Includes all the applicable diagrams and models, including:
data flow diagram (DFD)
Conceptual data model
ER model.

Design (complete what is applicable)
Code design includes pseudo code and/or data process diagram are error free.
Database design includes functional dependency for table.
Logical data models in 3nf
Physical data models in 3nf
Interfaces & layout, graphic, interactions design includes interfaces & layout, graphics (color, text, tables & images, etc.), & interactions.

Develop & Test
Develop the system and perform unit tests.
Add test Plan to specify quality assurance plan for the system.
Add Issue tracking strategy to specify how you will be documenting and keeping track of bugs, errors, and their fixes.

Discussion
Interpret and discuss what the results mean and what is their significance.
Compare the result to the theoretical expectations and explain the unexpected.
If applicable write about

Important patterns.
Compare the actual data and the predictions or questions documented earlier in the paper.
Offer possible explanations where the result was different than the expected results.
Reflect on how well the data answers your research question.
Implementation & Maintenance
Add the following, if applicable
Installation process
Training
Support
Issue tracking
Upgrade/Updates

Results
Number of errors related to discussion or results.
The results are emphasized in the paper.
They are complete and include:
Limitations
progress/challenges
anticipated/primary results.

Conclusion
summarize major findings & necessary crucial information.
Discuss potential/ future implications.
Relate the findings to the problem &specific objectives in the introduction.
Clearly summarize what is being demonstrated and what is not.
Review the results as it relates to the original research question.
Assess the success of the study based on the criteria of success you gave in the introduction.
If applicable, recommend guidelines for future work.

References
Use APA style to create your reference list.
The References page is an alphabetized list of materials that you have cited in your paper. It is placed after the body of the paper, where you will start a new page with “References” at the top in bold and centered.
