@After watching the documentary The Sink Is Our Fridge: The American Kids That Can’t Afford Food, students will prepare a well-researched, well-written paper focused on how the experience of poverty can impact the developing brain and developmental outcomes across the domains of development as children age and mature while making connections to their own direct and/or indirect experiences of poverty. The specific impact of poverty will be connected to the AAFCS Body of Knowledge’s (BOK’s) three themes.
