The case study progresses from the project plan (completed in a previous assignment), to the request for proposal (RFP) (completed in a previous assignment), implementation plan (completed in a previous assignment), and finally the quality performance improvement plan. Since software and training will help capture and code correct information so the right data is used to calculate the complication rate, in this assignment, you will analyze performance improvement data and create a dashboard and presentation to brief the health system chief operations officer (COO) on your findings.

Refer to the implementation plan you developed in the Topic 6 assignment as well as any instructor feedback on the plan.

Complete the “Performance Improvement Template” spreadsheet and use it to analyze the patient safety data pre and post implementation. Assume that the implementation and training was conducted in May–June.
Create a quality improvement dashboard for presentation to the COO and executive stakeholders.

A supported recommendation for selection and implementation of a decision support software platform. How will you socialize your findings with the organization’s leadership and medical staff? Note: You must include a direct statement that begins, “I recommend…”
