For this Signature Assignment, you will assume the role of a member of the strategic planning team after the merger (also called a horizontal integration) of two of the companies you used in Assignment 2 of Week 2. The intent of this merger is to broaden their scope of the newly merged company and increase accessibility to global markets. Your first task, as a member of the strategic planning team, is to provide a draft recruitment plan specifically for addressing the need for three additional members to the company’s management team.
Assess the following and prepare a report, including appropriate tables or charts as needed, in which you address each item using what you have learned in this course as background leading to identifying three final members to serve on the management team. Use the following questions to help think through this frame of the strategic planning process:
