Exploring the Relationship between Stress and Hypertension in Young Adults.

Final Study Term Goals
After the IRB application has been approved, students conduct their research, collect and analyze data, report findings, and draw conclusions. With the committee’s guidance, students write the remaining chapters or sections of the capstone and the document abstract. The Final Study is evaluated by the committee to ensure doctoral-level work (e.g., accurate results, alignment, etc.). Students complete the form and style review process and an oral defense. The Final Study stage culminates in the Chief Academic Officer (CAO) designee review process. CAO approval is required for capstone completion.

Complete the study independently, with the support of a capstone committee, and following the guidance from program capstone resources and the Doctoral Degree Coach.

If you haven’t already, log in to the Doctoral Degree CoachTM and enter your Goal Completion Date in the Doctoral Capstone or Project area. While you consider your own work/life balance, know that most students start with a Goal Completion Date of no more than 3 years from the capstone “start date”. The date can be modified over time, as needed. Refer to Course Grading for academic progress criteria and contact your committee chair with any questions.

Find your current Stage/Step in the Coach and read through and complete all To-Dos by the noted Goal Dates. This is your detailed/daily planner.
