Your Case Study should consist of four parts: 1) an overview, 2) a discussion of oppressive influences, 3) an analysis of community impact, and 4) a section on intervention opportunities. You should incorporate sources and materials from all four of the following areas:
1. Recent scholarly material (peer-reviewed and published in 2015 or later); minimum of four articles used.
2. Media material (news stories, broadcast series, investigative journalism)
3. Political material (legislation, laws, policies)
4. Personal stories

Introduce the population or community you’re focusing on, pinpoint a policy (local, state, federal, or organizational) that substantively impacts their lives, provide a concise yet meaningful summary of the problem, explain why this issue matters, and give a brief rundown of the materials included in your Case Study.
