Construct a hypothetical research proposal in 4-6 pages (not including title page and reference page). A cover page with title, name and class is expected in APA format – as is a reference page at the end.

An abstract is NOT needed for this paper.

Your proposal should include the following:

Introduction

Literature review (5 sources in addition to your book, taken from credible journals found in the (online) library database(s)

Research Question

Research Design: How will the study be set up? What are the dependent and independent variables?

Research Hypotheses

Sample: The sample, how you would recruit them, and why this sample is representative to the population to whom you want to generalize.

Evaluation Methods: The quantitative methods you would use and why. Describe the method, what you’re measuring, and why this method is best suited to the research question

What data are you collecting (surveys, test scores, instrumentation), and what are you computing with the data?

What statistical test are you using and why?

Note what ethical and multicultural concerns there may be: how would you address them?

Part of the score will be on the professional looking quality of the paper; use of APA format; graduate-level writing

Have fun, do not over-do it.
