Write a Case study on the Ongoing Conflict between North and South Korea.

You will use the same conflict for all three assignments in this class so it’s important that you choose a conflict that is on-going. In this assignment you will describe the conflict in detail.
What are the causes of the conflict? Who are the belligerents?
What are the goals of each belligerent?
Do not discuss attempts to resolve the conflict as that will be done in another assignment. Instead, focus on the historical causes of the conflict and the goals of the participants.
You must use scholarly sources—peer reviewed articles, government publications (both US and non-US), and academic texts. You may also use primary sources such as press releases and public statements by the belligerents, but 2/3rds of your support must come from scholarly sources.
Technical Requirements:
Your paper must be at a minimum of 4-5 pages (the Title and Reference pages do not count towards the minimum limit).
Scholarly and credible references should be used as described above. A good rule of thumb is at least 2 distinct scholarly sources per page of content; however, a minimum of 6-8 scholarly and/or peer-reviewed references are required.
Type in Times New Roman, 12 point and double space.
Students will follow the current Turabian Style as the sole citation and reference style used in written work submitted as part of coursework.
Points will be deducted for the use of Wikipedia or encyclopedic type sources.
You must use scholarly sources — books, peer-reviewed journals, articles, archived documents, etc. www.history.com, www.military, news media outlets, and nonprofit websites are not considered scholarly and/or peer-reviewed sources — to provide 2/3rds of the support for this assignment.
