Write a FICTIONAL STORY on what you see in the music. Music tells a story when we listen to it, so what is your story when you hear the music. Remember we’re in between the world wars, there’s the Great Depression, Reconstruction in the South. Jazz becomes a huge part of how the Harlem and Chicago Renaissance develops (we’ll see this again with the Beat Generation). So let’s see how music influences writing. So what little mind movie do you see when you listen to the music? Write that in story form.
Word Count: 500 or more words (please indicate which song you chose, or you can listen to as many as you like)
Format: MLA
Completely original, anything copied will be an automatic zero.
