You are to conduct a search and find two articles regarding massive school shootings which have occurred.
Examples of acceptable shootings are Uvalde and Sandy Hook. In a well written essay, minimum of one page not to exceed three pages, you are to compare the two school shootings based on their findings.
Essay should provide but is not limited to include any similarities and/or differences between both and must be supported by content material.
Include topics such as SCRT, the response to the crisis, bereavement in both schools,
Please note: I am not looking for obvious similarities/differences (eg. both were in a school, one was in Connecticut and the other in Texas, victims were school aged children, both were an act of gun violence, etc.) I am looking for things such as the response time, what was done correctly, what was done incorrectly, was there a difference between how the response time/actions were handled at one school versus the other?, characteristics of both shooters, etc.
As a reminder, the assignment must be supported by content material. Please be reminded that there is a minimum of 3 paragraphs/minimum 5 sentences per paragraph for all written assignments. In addition, the assignment should be supported with content material and/or outside resource(s) if applicable.
