In your own words, summarize the book. Clearly explain the main themes it discusses. A summary includes ONLY what the book states, NOT your personal opinions.

B-RELEVANCE SECTION

Use your aspects sheet (a separate document will be added) and choose two topics from two different chapters that in some way seem to connect to the topic of your book. In one or two paragraphs teach me what the chapter states about one of the topics you chose. Then in another paragraph explain why/how this topic connects to the book.
Then go on to your second topic choice and do the same thing. The relevance section will therefore have several paragraphs, (a minimum of 4).

C-CRITIQUE

This is the opportunity for your opinions about the book you have read and discussed. In a separate paragraph or more, what was the author intending to accomplish? Was he or she successful? What are your thoughts and opinions about the themes discussed, and how do you evaluate the quality of the book?
