Your Newsflash assignment is an analysis of a recent newspaper article. Your presentation should be between 4-6 minutes long, and you will lose credit if it is shorter or longer than that. You will receive credit based on presentation (confidence, volume, eye contact,) as well as content. There is no need to submit notes.
Your information should include:
– Identification of title, author, publication, and date.
– Clear statement of the main idea of the article.
– A short but comprehensive summary of the article.
– An analysis of whether or not the writer makes a strong argument, including explanation of any logical fallacies.
